The Fideles Society honors donors who have made personal gifts for three or more consecutive fiscal years to the Agnes Scott annual fund. The Fideles Society recognizes this loyalty without regard to the amount of giving; indeed, every gift counts. Membership in the Fideles Society is maintained each fiscal year by a personal gift to the annual fund. While greatly appreciated, corporate matching gifts do not count toward individual membership. If a fiscal year passes in which the member does not make a gift to the annual fund, membership is suspended until the donor resumes annual fund support for three consecutive fiscal years.
The Frances Winship Walters Society recognizes alumnae and friends who support Agnes Scott through their estate plans or other planned gifts. A social event in their honor is held every year during Alumnae Weekend, the third weekend in April.
Donor Recognition Events
The Tower Circle Dinner is held every year on the third Thursday or April to honor and recognize leadership donors to the annual fund; annual fund donor members of Tower Circle, the Deans' List, the Founder's Club, the President's Circle, the George Washington Scott Society and the Agnes Scott Society are invited. These donors also receive a special listing in the President's Report in December and in each issue of Main Events.
The Scholarship Dinner is held annually to honor donors to endowed scholarship funds. The student recipients are invited to attend and get to know their benefactors.
The Awards Convocation in May gives donors to endowed or expendable award funds the opportunity to personally present the award to the year's student recipient. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet exceptional students.
