Amanda Brown enters her fourth year as head coach at Agnes Scott. Brown brings a wealth of experience to the Scotties' bench as both a player and athletic administrator.
Brown was a four-year starter at Maryville College, where she helped lead the Scots to the NCAA Division III National Tournament each year she competed. Brown was named to the Great South Athletic Conference, All-Freshman Team in her first year and was a member of three GSAC Conference Championship teams. Brown received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology from Maryville, while minoring in German.
Brown later served as a graduate assistant to the Lady Vols' volleyball team at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. While there, Brown earned her Master's of Science degree in Sport Psychology.
Coach Brown and her husband, Adam, reside in Decatur and have a son, Landon.
