This unique, week-long day camp at Agnes Scott College provides an opportunity for girls to explore science and technology—all while having fun on a college campus.
Calling All Girls Entering Grades 6-8:
Explore the Science of Food at the Agnes Scott Summer Science Camp!
- Learn how food helps living organisms thrive in their environment
- Explore the impact of the environment on food production
- Conduct experiments to explain the role of yeast in bread
- Investigate the science behind cooking with eggs, sugar, milk, and oil
- Demonstrate the properties of many kinds of nuts
Dates: Monday through Friday, June 9-13, 2008
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: May 1, 2008 or until the camp is full
