Assessment at Agnes Scott College is focused on understanding and promoting student learning. We believe it is important to develop ambitious, specific and clearly stated goals for student learning.  Assessment asks questions like:

  • What skills, abilities, and knowledge does an Agnes Scott education foster in students?
  • What are we doing well, and why?
  • Where can we do better, and how?

Assessment works with all constituencies on campus to begin to answer questions like these in order to promote student learning and the Agnes Scott experience.

If we know more about how our students are learning, we can teach better and they can learn better.
